Coils of coller.

This should help some conversion guys see the seperation from the start windings and the run windings in this 4 pole single phase motor. The runs are the big coils.

Thanks

I can see that picture much clearer than when I look into a motor in person, and the colors help alot too.

On the 2 bottom coils I can see the green wire running from the right coil over to the left coil and over it. Those are the ones I can never find to seperate into single run coils. In that motor are the other 3 also as easy to find? Would I simply cut it to 2 equal sizes and attach leads.

Other than mine are all copper color and a blur to me, this looks simlar to some motors

I had.

Hi NTL.

I normaly take the exsisting motor conection wires and start with one. Next I follow through the coil its conected to and on through the next coil that it connects to. Then make a cut there. 2 coils then cut.

For 12 volt use on the Garbogen it works best to wire 2 run coils in sires and then perelell them with the other 2 run coils. Do the same for the starts.

Use seperate bridges on the runs and the starts. This makes for a 2 phase PMA.

The start of the first 2 coils connects to the start of the second set of coils.

The end of the first 2 coils connects to the end of the second set of coils.

This makes the sires/perelell circut above.
