suburban windmill

the blades rarely stopped spinning all weekend ,saturday and sunday


















i wish i had the boost converter hooked up on saturday when it was more windy than sunday





all dissasembled and ready to pack up and hed home

Hi Willib

I know others are looking at those blades and thinkin your nuts having such a high solidity.

I think your on the right track.sure they wont be speed burners or noise makers but can produce in lower winds than any other design i think.Well maybe not vawts(lol)

 Matches the title of your story.(suburban shhhh)

Hi Willib, You sure seem to be able to make something work using availiable parts of this and that, Someday maybe you can solve perpetual motion. Ha thanks for the pictures, and keep up the good work.

Hi coldspot the first link is the info on the stator construction and some closeups of the alt .

the last graph and conclusion was a little premature , because i was turning the alt by hand
