if my turbine will be turning to face the wind, and I had wires connected up the center of my pole it will twist the wire up. How is this addressed?

On average your turbine will turn equal amounts each way, exception being a turbulent site, that is one where trees or buildings are within a couple of hundred meters of and at turbine height.

This may cause it to wind up the drop cable, if so this is addressed by having a plug in socket at the bottom of the the tower and unwinding the cable when necessary.

After my turbine was up for several months, I unwired my hard wired connections at my tower shutoff $#|+ch to let it unwind.  Nothing.  That was at least 6 months ago.  I probably should check it, but I expect that wpowokal is right, they wind one way as much as the other.

yes as others have said.  On a good site itll twist up slowly - on turbulent sites more quickly.  I'm on a rather turbulent site and I untwist the cable every few months.  The cable will twist up in the same direction that the turbine furlss in my experience.

If I ever figure out what's in the box then maybe I can think outside of it.
