While it is true that manuals ( often porly translated) can frustrate, amd some devices are far more complex than they need to be. Technology does work, technology has been a great boon to humanity. And like any tool it can be misused and/ or abused. That is the fault of People not the technology. Every time you get on your computr your are employing a technology that is directly bennifiting you and the rest of humanity.
