Revolutions per minute
« on: September 24, 2005, 11:23:18 PM »
HI

I have a spinning wheel a tad over 2 metres in circumference, with the right stregnth and size magnets fitted inside and  with an air gap alternator, can some one give me an idea of power output in terms of AC voltage and wattage that could be achieved with a steady 2000 revolutions per minute.

Could this energy be harnessed maybe into a bank of rechargable batteries.

Kind Regards

Phil

If the wheel is not steel then you output will be extremely limited. I recommend that you read through the archive of articles here, as others have experimented with similar devices.
