Whats gone wrong with the web site?

In the drop down menu the section Diaries no longer appears.

For several weeks now the words Post a Comment no longer appear in postings.

Its also impossible to add photographs to some comments.

This article should be in the Diaries Section, so perhaps ADMIN can move it.

Yep, the old gal is getting pretty crufty. Most of us quit pointing out the bugs around bug #245691. Something is in the works but no time line has been offered. Sorry, I would gladly move your post to "Diaries" anywhere else I could but not Diaries never could even when it was working 100% No option for that.

ok to handle your questions one at a time.

 to post a diary to the diary section you have had to click a separate link on the main page ---------> over there on the right since this board came online in like 2005 it has not changed you are confused.

the add photos tool in comments has been broken ever since they changed servers and upgraded the scoop software that busted allot of stuff around here if you want to add a photo to a comment you have to code it in manually using basic html.  this is the site i use on how to do that when i have a brain fade and cannot remember off the top of my head http://www.davesite.com/webstation/html/chap04.shtml

they are not going to fix any of the things that are broken with this software as the plan at this point is to move to totally new software soon so we just gotta deal with it until they get the new software online and ready.

i have no explanation for the no "post a comment" thing sometimes we turn that feature off in a story if it gets out of control but not every story for sure.
