Save Electricity (or maybe not)
« on: October 02, 2010, 10:59:40 AM »
Buy it now for 99c plus $5 for shipping.

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-15KW-Power-Electricity-Energy-Saver-Box-Save-30-EU-/220565612255?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item335abc26df

A capacitor in a box with a Euro plug and two pretty LED lights on the front. The sellers name says it pretty well.

Should I report this to fleabay as a scam, or just let some n00b waste their money? If it actually removes line spikes and that was all they claimed it did I wouldn't have a problem with it.

It's a complete scam, if you read the savings it claims to make.  Report it.

Done. SiliconChip bought one and took it apart. http://www.siliconchip.com.au/cms/A_109592/article.html

That's all that's in it.
