Some I'm building a rig that will run these two stators back to back. My intention was to try and find a way to make them viable without having to rearrange the coils, but I'm going to have to convert them both to 3x4c setups to get anything out of it. What I'm curious about, though, if it might be possible to wire up both stators to work together as one single stator. The way it's arranged I can time the rotors in any way I want, and the coils are mirrored so it seems (to me, I'm probably over simplifying this) that I would just mirror the coil arrangement on the rear rotor. Instead of there being three sets of coils run in parallel, there would be six.
Of course the issue I currently have is that the voltage is too high to use for anything reasonable...if I understand this correctly this should keep voltage roughly the same as a stndard 2x3c configuration but the current would double. Am I understanding that correctly?
Opinions?
