Gotwind in Las Vegas
« on: January 09, 2009, 10:58:19 PM »
Three months of hard work, designing and building this project for a large electronics company and present in the Las Vegas Consumer electronics show (CES) at the moment - Some may scoff, but hey, its payment in hard times, and I loved making it.

Shipping it all from the U.K to Vegas had its own challenges, I can tell you.

Hopefully we have achieved what we wanted.

Here is Gotwind's Skycharger (Mark 2 version of the REcharge pod)- A stand-alone power station or mobile phone charge station.

Capable of charging 104 mobile phones (cell phones) per hour from the 880w solar array and 1Kw Bergey turbine, with bespoke integral LED illumination battons.

The structure has a 10 metere square 'footprint' and 7.5 metre height to turbine hub.

And inside, 104 lockers to safely store and charge your mobile devices.

A most deserving BRAVO to you Ben.

I see you have a major sponsor also, congratulations.

Could there be an IPO on the horizon? :-)

Nice job Ben, I'm glad it all came together and it looks great.

Try to keep some of that 'coin' in your pocket... Vegas can be tempting.
