i could not delete this image i uploaded, so i ask:
here at the back of stator main windings are additional windings that would influence the flux from rotor poles. these vertical bars in the stator are not conductive.
i barely grasp or do not grasp at all what would happen.
the idea is to wind these back-windings so, that when pole approaches to it an attractive magnetic field is created.
possible effects:
- increased peak flux around main windings
- increased torque?
- changed rpm/output formula
- more and thicker wire.
- because of increasingly changing flux the iron back of rotor is in question?
..
is that discussable or a complete fiasco?
