« on: December 04, 2012, 10:54:35 PM »
I live in a town that does not allow wind turbines, i want some small yard art style windmills just to keep a small trickle charge into my battery ,can anyone recommend any links or user names  for me to look at.

Id rather build it myself out of scraps I was thinking that ghurd and maybe ed and and few others has ornamental type mills, ive been searching the board but seem to get side tracked easily, i was hoping someone had come up with a good solid machine thats easy to copy

I googled sculptural wind turbines and saw some very nice things, I think I should  thbuild one  my self.

They can't stop you from building a sculpture.

I've built a few very small yard  ornaments
using small "stepper motors"
from old computer parts and things
they light up a few LED's each and
can use normal yard toys for blades
Search stepper motors maybe
