Air Powered Cars
« on: February 17, 2006, 02:33:39 AM »
The TV  Show Beyond Tomorrow in one of their episodes had 2 stories

about air powered vehicles.

The air motors that were on Beyond Tomorrow promise to help make our world a much better place.

For those trying to get off the grid they would probably be perfect.

I personally want to get 1 or 2 of these motors to put in my current minivan if they are powerful enough.

It would be something great to mix with an electric air compressor and a

small cartop vwat and 1 or 2 bateries in a car or vinivan.

The VWAT turbine would be collaposable and would be for when the car is at rest to replenish the batteries running the air compressor to fill the tanks.

I have yet to contact the companies to see how expensive the motors would be or if they are avalable yet.

They've been working on those things for years.  I've yet to see the final version for sale as yet.   They have a couple different motors... one runs primarily on air and the other will run as a gas engine/compressor and as an air engine.   The engine design itself is quite unique I think thier having problems with the pressure storage containers for vehicle safety.   Can you imagine what would happen if a tank was ruptured in a collision?...
