Efficient Heating
« on: September 11, 2005, 09:44:05 PM »
I have discovered the most efficient heater yet - AMD mobile processors. Yeah, my computer kinda died today. The processor just gets too hot and the system shuts off. I've had it for almost 2 years now, and I guess it was just time for it to go. Last winter, I'd actually put my hand by the fan to warm up my fingers. I'm gonna try to use some compressed air and hope it's just dust keeping it all nice and toasty.

My point of this post: Things don't last forever, especially when they are not engineered the best way. Make sure you clean out the dust in your computer regularly.

As for AMD processors, I still like them, but I think I'll try a centrino in my next laptop. Either that or just get an AMD desktop.
