So you can only insert into the body, not the intro text.

Next up -- allow you to insert images into the intro text, but make it thumbnail them down to tiny size automatically.

Cheers

yet another thought on photos
« Reply #3 on: June 11, 2003, 10:39:04 AM »
Dan;

It seems like it would be nice to auto adjust photo sizes to keep those monsters that occasionally show up to a reasonable display size. Saw a comment the other day that had a huge photo in it which made it hard to read the comments because it was 2 screens wide because of the extra big pic.

Always thinking of ways to keep you busy

Cheers.

Making Scoop automatically cram big photos into little frames to preserve the screen format would be pretty easy (I did it here) - but making it thumbnail them to preserve load time would be difficult. We're thinkin' about what to do -- might be nice to put thumbs in the intro text. Ooops, sorry Kodi is sideways!
Cheers

well not thumbnails

Not thumbnails just automagically limit display size was my thought. I've got broadband so I'm not too concerned with size myself just ease of reading the comments around a large picture.

Cheers.

YES!!! I totaly agree. What's worse is the first post that is very wide and then every comment that follows is too wide too. It makes it VERY HARD to read for those of us that don't have a large high resolution monitor. Something to shrink the text width even if the picture is wide would be very nice.
