5 foot Composite Plug all sanded

All is left now is to add an aditional 2.25" to the root, and finish the tip.  Then we need to apply Duratech gelcoat primer, some wetsanding, then the Gelcoat itself.

I can only pretend to appriciate the effort involved, but it sure looks great!

I Have been anxious for an update, looks very encouraging. Just for curiosity, what is the life expectancy of the plug? I guess I'm asking how many blades do you exspect to get before the plug is no longer good? Thanks again,

The plug is used to make the first set of molds, which should produce 75-150+ blades.     Once you have finished blades, they can be used to make more molds.
