old battery charger
« on: March 23, 2007, 03:25:31 PM »
i have been given an old battery charger .
from a garage i think.
there are parts missing.
the company is still in business but i think has moved on to other products
are there any parts that could be used in a wind mill generator system ?

Moved to a more suitable section.

there is no schematic diagram .
there are no ac or dc cables.
there is a nice big amp meter on the front
and a bunch of transformers(i think at least one is missing)
there are two boxes that could be charge controlers

I dunno... just looking at the pics, everything you'd need seems to be there.  If the transformer is still operational, a couple new switches, some wiring, and some modern rectifiers and regulators would make this a pretty nice unit...
