I found these two different LED arrays locally
They run off of 120V ac line voltage.
The red ones are made by Lumileds.
The other ones are by Dialite. They are also red but the power supply has a fried inductor.
the Lumileds came with a fresnel lens

They are from street lights.
so they also come in yellow and green.
would make nice Christmas lights i think .
there are piles of these left where i got them.
at 50 cents a piece i couldn't resist.
