preview of winter output for Piggott 4' ?
« on: November 23, 2010, 05:02:18 PM »
it's probably been a month since the 4' turbine has spun, but i've had a couple GREAT days this past week.  last i had checked my turnigy meter, i was at 300 ish Wh, and after a big wind day, i was at 1,200 Wh.  another big day today (still going), was just about to hit the 2KWh mark.  never come close to making a Kwh in a day before.

the current winds seem typical (from my poor memory) of my winter winds, especially over night, so hopefully i'll get some good output for the next couple of months.  my max amps was only 12 on either day, so it must have been some pretty consistent winds (not too many high gusts) to get up to 1Kwh in a few hrs time.
