Help! Stack clock fault in magnum inverter
« on: October 27, 2012, 11:38:13 PM »
Today a hooked up a brand new magnum 4024PAE  inverter and when I went to fire it up it wouldn't turn on. I plugged in the remote, and it comes up saying there is a "stack clock fault". But I am not stacking any inverters and have nothing plugged into the stacking port.  Rebooting the inverter doesn't help.

Please someone help!

Read the manual. Otherwise send it back. It's new. You pay for a warranty, use it.

Also, check the settings. They stick even on a reset. If the inverter is set to stack and there is no cable it will fault.

I think I'd call Magnum Energy's tech support people.  I've talked to them before and Magnum has top notch tech support.
