 Same down here, for the past 3 days. Also, sometimes slow to load the page, and, sometimes never does load when I go to another post or page. I just leave and come back some other time ??

I had some problems during the last Month , but just went away and came back later ,,it was fine . I go on the IRC chat channel every day and the crew there all seem to have problems ,but seem to deal with it.

Just carry on and it will be great again .

Suggestion,,, love fieldlines since day one ,but if you can't get on ,go to "homegrown power" ,we're only aussies but in time we'll learn ya.

I had seen the problems others were having. But I was having none.....that is it was working like it always had.  Then I let windows do an update AAAAhhhahhhhahh

Looks like the hosting company (www.xlan.org) is running a squid proxy server to cache the page requests to reduce the SQL load on the main server running the forum (which is probably under powered for the size of the forum). Trouble is they don't have enough cache allocated by the looks of it (or they have the expire algorithms set up incorrectly) so it throws a wobbly. The error pattern I'm seeing is that the cache gets cleared manually every few days without the fundamental problems getting fixed.

Time to take the new updated Scoop install and database to another hosting company I reckon...

Well I think these update problems are a good thing. Its out trianing, just getting us ready for what the folks in Washington our planing for us.

Befor long we'll all be slow or never experts.
