CNN Heroes Viewers' Choice
The CNN Heroes program culminates in a live global broadcast from the American Museum of Natural History in New York on Thursday, December 6 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT). The event is focused on honoring viewer-nominated heroes (as apposed to CNN profiled heroes like blueEnergy), however one CNN profiled hero - the Viewers' Choice - will receive separate recognition and a cash prize.
The public is being asked to vote for their favorite profiled heroes, by category, by visiting the CNN Heroes website. Voting began in the first category on October 1st - blueEnergy's category of Community Crusader went online this Monday and voting will continue until 12 pm ET next Monday, the 29th of October.
