Active Rain has become our link to RE Real Estate People across the country...we can introduce them to RE Power and Green Development, which is already making its way to the professionals in other fields. We can target entire industries using a search engine to find the forums, such as truckers; or oil industry people who are looking for someone to direct their own research and development...green is the new gold rush!
Active Rain has over 85,000 members and growing. By joining the forums, I can interact with people who can teach me about real estate developments in their area, and together, we can collaborate with them on green development projects. We also invite other professionals to coach or mentor with young people; even better if we find coaches for sports teams, who want to learn and teach about wind and green power training.
So far, we have partners in TX; CO; CA; OK; VA; NY; NJ; UT and AZ. There are no costs involved, and everything is available online, with phone and email support for our volunteers/coaches and mentors.
Our YouTube challenge for Earth Day 2008 was to ask a student to help post a video about a local energy project,and post it on YouTube or another video site...such as GreenEnergyTV.com, with over 300 videos posted, documenting better than any college textbooks what is currently being marketed and developed in the real world.
