Battery Isolator Fusing
« on: June 23, 2003, 06:07:01 PM »
This has got to do with my truck again. I'm installing a battery isolator for the deep cycle battery mounted in my tool box in the bed of the truck, and not sure where to fuse everything. I've got it fused between the alternator and the battery isolator, should I fuse the circuit between the battery isolator and each battery as well? Thanks everyone.

Nevermind, I googled it myself. I need to fuse everything close to the battery. Good thing a lot of Japanese cars have those monster(100 amp) fuse holders/fuses connected right to the battery, next junk yard run I'm grabbing a few. Thanks everyone anyway, solved this one myself but hopefully this this post will help someone else.
