update on panel system

Recevied Today in the mail from Red Rock Energy

the LED Solar tracker I needed and dug up my old

satellite dish linear actuator will be connecting

it up and tweek'n. (pics to come shortly)


The barn is off grid!!!!! cool beams....

What are you using for a cover over the tracker?


I just bought a cheap dummy camera dome. Don't know how it will stand up to long exposure outside though.

I used 1 1/2" PVC pipe with cap on bottom

and the top dome is from the plastic container

you get when you put 50 cents in the vending machine

to get a toy at wal-mart in the entry way. It fit

just right but I don't know how long it will last.

I guess time will tell.

This system is still alive and well today with an upgrade to a 800w inverter. Soon will

need to replace battery. I think I will put two in this time.
