Put a genny on the new 40 ft tower. Its actully setting at 45 ft with mast.
Its just a temperary genny till I have another unit ready to fly on it. Since I can just raise and lower the genny mount with the cable crank I'll be trying a bunch of diferant gennys up there. Takes about 20 minuts to swap them out.
Gennys on the try out list. F&P, 1 hp 120v 6 pole ac conversion, 6" dual rotor, 8" dual rotor, 12" dual rotor, 16" dual rotor with ceramics, triple stator GM car alt and a bunch more.
Most of these are still just in my head. However several are on the bench as we speak.
OH the temperary genny is a GE ECM motor, 3 blade 49" tip to tip. Set for 24v use. The diodes are in the metal box at the base of the tower.
