just a couple of shots of the mill...

still have to make two more stators for it --so it will be true 3 phase..

tottale thickness of the stator will be 3/4"..

and of course it will be powered by neos--

right now its powered by ceramics--hits 9 amps shorted out to a auto amp meter.

six coils--6 mags on each rotor--single phase....

coils are only 1/4"--inlaid in 1/4" plywood..

coundnt ask for any more trees--i only have summer tags on my motorhome so a real

test will have to wait..i always drive down to the coast to test my mills[always a good breeze there]...............

What size are the ceramics and what size will the NEOs be?

Have you doubeled up on the saw blades or are they one thickness?

I'm still trying to get some usfull power out of those Lowes ceramics somehow?

Is your stator fairly solid? Sounds like your building 3 stators. Then stack them atop each other but ofset to make the 3 phases?

im using lowes mags for now--i belive dan has some mags about the same size as lowes.

the rotors are doubled up--most likly will have to add on another disk when i toss on some neos..yes the stator is solid- -1/4"thick -coils are epoxied in...

should make some good power once i add the extra stators to it[offset for 3 phase]

and power up with neos..still have to build a three blade prop for it..most likly will use the slotted hub design--get more angle at the root that way--easyer start up in low winds....................

Nice little mill. What are you using for hub/bearing setup?  Any power readings yet?

hicker, i am interested in the bearing/ shaft support design of this little unit it looks as though its supported on a single shaft.
