Well its all put together, except for the assembly bolts(had it so long i missplaced those)i'll find um, meantime It's held together with a clamp.
It's a 1/2 hp Century motor off a Sears sump pump, 4 poles, 1725 RPM, 6.5 amp. It has 4 groups of 3 bar neos 2" X .5" X .25" (boy those things are hard to get together)2 north 2 south(groups that is) skewed. Space between groups is not precisely the same(do to difficulty in grouping) but it's very close I HOPE that won't affect the output to much(crossed fingers). I have not been able to do much as far as checking the output goes yet, but spinning with my fingers(real scientific) and setting my meter to lock on the higest reading I checked both the run and start windings and get the following. Start (i think, big wire) 7.03VAC Run (small wire) 5.85VAC. Hope thaat's a good sign.
Well that's it for now. I gotta go see if I can rig up someway to turn this thing at a given speed. Sorry no pics. No camera. I'll post again when I get some decent reading and hopefully some pics.
