WVO Burner (two burner model) Update
« on: January 21, 2005, 12:37:43 PM »
Well here's some pictures and a little more info on the WVO burner I set up in my wood stove.

>

I added a chimney to each can (smaller coffee can) it seems to create a directional draft that makes it burn hotter(about 25-50f) and cleaner and directes the heat closer to the top of the stove. On top of the stove I have added a 18" square piece of copper flashing as a heat sink (suggested in anothers post)to disperse the heat with the help of a fan. It seems to work well.

Oh ya the burner on the right has just been refilled so it not burning as well as the one on the left.

   Really neat...

I used to work in a steel mill (Granite City),you almost have what they used to call a 'salamander' a big tub with a lid a hole in the middle for the stack with diagonal vents ...you probably know what I'm talking about?
