Hi Dr.D nice to hear from you.  I don't know what to say, but I've done all this my-self.  I sure wish I had a folks around like Dan.  I have changed that turbine around some since those pictures.  Larger tail boom and tail surface area and more of an offset for beter furling.  I am working on a new prop right now, I can't wait till I can try it out. I have a battery bank of 8t-105's that feed a prosign inverter with the help of about 450 watts of solar. I have 1 trace c-40 on regulation for the solar and another c-40 on dump for the wind.  This alternator is a little to much some times though for the c-40. I some times have to run around and turn things on. The best part about 3 phase is I can flip a switch and not have to worry about it, not like alot of pm motors I have put up.

Howdy rotornuts, I'm in north central washington about 1/2 way between tonaskett and republic and about 10 miles from the canadian border. Okanogan highlands, very cool spot, timber, lakes, ghost towns, mining anything-goes type of place.  I love it.  But I live in seattle.

A ha! I'm in Creston BC about 75 miles from Spokane as the crow flies. Looked like the other side of the banana belt(Creston is in a wet belt with a milder climate than the sorrounding areas). Thought it reminded of the Grand Forks area here in BC. to reach where you are is probably around a three to four hour drive on the Canadian side.

It is beautifull country isn't it.
