Christmas in May
« on: May 06, 2005, 01:00:44 PM »
Normal people don't seem to understand, so I posted this here where all the RE geeks can see it. I've been waiting for five years to pull the trigger on this and finally came up with the money. The truck showed up tuesday with a 250 lb pallet and all these boxes shrink wrapped together. Hope this doesn't come across as a gloat but I'm soooooo excited!

Outback:
VFX3524
MX60
Mate
Mounting plate
PSAC power panel
PSDC power panel
PSPV array combiner box
Miscellaneous breakers, conduit adapters, etc.

I've got a hole in the ground where my new house is going to be. Once it's built, I'll have a place to install all this stuff!

This guy had the best Outback prices on the net that I could find. He's selling the MX60 for $460, that's $40 lower than I could find it anywhere else. Very helpful too. He spent an hour on the phone with me making sure I got everything I needed.

Looks awful exciting! Way to go Bob...

But... You did save enough money to get them Volvo wagons in Denver, no?  :-)

I sure don't want to have to get 'em...

The only thing I like more than some of this stuff is pallets of this stuff!

Next is the fun part!  Seeing all that work!

Get the PVs fast, if you didn't already.

Thats going to be a pretty power room when you're done.  All matching components and everything.  I bet you can't wait to start hooking it all up.  Rich

I can bet that you are just a bit excited. I saw one of the complete upgradable matching Outback setups at our local RE dealer. If you are going to do it, you may as well do it once and do it right.

A whole pallet ;) That is Christmas!

Brilliant.  I've a VFX3024 and it is a great piece of kit. :)  Can't afford an MX60 at the moment though :(  Maybe next Christmas.
