"The second angle takes up about 12 the blade width" ....should be half the blade width

here's the windward side of the blade.




Yesterday afternoon, winds were 20 mph, gusting to 36.  I pulled the fuses to allow the generator to freewheel. It did not overspeed. I heard them gently stall instead and they seemed to maintain a constant rpm. My NACA 44XX would have gone ballistic!


IMHO, these blades were easier to carve than the NACA 44XX were. The thin laminates of plywood served as a guide to indicate the blade unfiormaty and thickness.

I've just began testing and I don't have any hard data yet. I'll post more as I get additional info. :)
