Dual rotor follow up

Ok as a follow up to this post.

I have now collected some data, now remember the wind speed recorder is at 6m, and the tower the Phynex (dual rotor) is on is 19m. This is a 24V system, most of these figures were taken with a system voltage of 30+.

  1. A @ 11m/s
  2. A @ 9 m/s
  3. A @ 8 m/s
  4. A @ 7 m/s
  5. A @ 6.6 m/s

peak amps I have seen 55A.

Now my wind is like most peoples gusty so exact figures is somewhat challenging.

The origional unit was Trivio's tripple rotor, it achieved 60 amps in similar winds 11m/s. So my conclusion is the duel rotor is superior to a tripple as others have pointed out.
