thats a test i did in the spring--i rebuilt the mill sence then--smaller and stronger.
and just a comment on star--on my little mill [8" rotors] i need all the amps i can get
so thats why i wired in jerry delta plus i needed a lot of winds per coil for volts..
of course on the bigger mills i could see star working fine--they don"t need a whole lot of winds per coil--therefore they don't have a whole lot of wire to fight..
just my way of thought...i just finished a smaller mill a while back-8and6-7.1/4" rotors.. saw blades-90 turns per coil-#17 wire-cut in speed is a bit high -but it still works great-no furl -small blades-and that is wired in star for volts-needed star because of the high cut in speed..
