I have been reading and collecting fittings now for over a year and a half.
just rsently began constuction of heat exchanger.using 1/2" copper tubeing inserted into a 3/4" copper extending 4" on either end, total measurement 28 1/2". Debuurring all 3/4" copper tees allowing the 1/2" to slip through. All return line inlets have a 5/16" brass washer soldered into inlet fitting's to reduce flow and cause turbulance and also evenly distribute flow to all 5 tubes.I am using 2 taco pumps. A 006 on pre-water heater,40 gal. water side and a 008 on the glycol side.
