I put in some time on my mill this weekend so I thought I'd post some pics...
I'd carved the blades some time ago so I started work on the hub...

My spare blade is painted white. I'll go with that when the hub is finished. (I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could spin a 10' blade on my workbench!)
I set the turbine aside and started on the control system. Here's the rectifier panel; I've labeled the parts...

a) 200 amp 3-phase rectifier
b) heat sink
c) thermal switch behind some cork tape
d) 24 volt fan
e) two shorting switches for the inputs
f) connection block for the inputs
g) connection block for the outputs
h) MPPT booster circuit
I still have to wire the parts together but that's a start.
I'm still in the "thinking stage" with how to mount the parts for dump panel ..

... I'm thinking of mounting half the resistors on each side of the aluminum plate and maybe getting a few more to give me more dump capacity at lower voltages.
