Dezincing Annealing and Thresheree
« on: July 29, 2007, 08:11:37 PM »
Heres a pic of a test roll of galvanized steel cable and the outer ring after spending 24hrs in the fire pit.

My thoughts are that where the zinc was will become rust and act has an insulator for eddies. Will need much more cable for the final.

 Any thoughts on this?

Heres a pic of me standing next to my future rotor

 Some more pics to ponder

I will provide a link to the symco thresheree in a while the wifes getting on me to finnish mowing.Have more pics.

Love that flywheel !!! I don't think wind gusts of any sort will greatly affect the speed of that beast!

We have a small local show that I try to hit yearly, although I missed this years event.  I love to watch all that machinery cranking away.  Things were simple back then.  It's much simpler constructing those machines with todays technology though !

Looks like you had a fun time!
