Not tried one Damon, but discussed it a while ago.


Conclusion - too expensive, and need big wind to perform....

Hi, yes, thanks, I found that thread, but it was any direct experience that I was after.


Who knows, it might outperform its modest specs for example!


Anyway, I've had very promising behaviour from my crappy prototype, so I'm scaling up my next attempt, and putting it on a real PM gen.

Well.. maximum charge rate is maybe 20w at 30mph; its a tiny thing and you can probably do a lot better for a lot less money yourself imho

Well, I'm certainly going to try to do a functional one myself!  But I'm really only after a small amount of power.  And I am interested in actual experience of that unit.
