New Year's Resolutions- January
« on: February 04, 2008, 09:37:03 AM »
My two New Year's Resolutions, were to learn a little more electronics and to complete an RE project every month.

I suppose it was a tall order.

I'm working on the first, but January just shot past without me doing anything constructive. What has happened is that I've bought another battery to put my power in and I've ordered a solar panel.  I now have two deep cycle batteries which give me 185Ah total, and my 80w solar panel should arrive on Wednesday.

I know it's easier to make excuses about my lack of activity than it is to do the actual work, but I've had my weekend time taken up with other stuff that couldn't be put aside.  I've spent the rest of the time holding down the sofa and getting a  better idea of what I'm going to do next.  Watch this space.

To help us 'watch this space' better, should you put up a photo of your sofa?  B^>

Possibly one reason I don't spend more time on our sofa is how much I detest the TV (did I do that rant already?), so I'm not feeling smug!

Yeah, and with everybody around my part of the globe getting flat panel TV's, the old CRT ones are being disposed of all over the place.  Rich

I rarely use the TV for Entertainment, I use it for information

News, Weather, History/Discovery Channel, NASA Channel, Local events

It would hurt me to be without the information

an occasional SciFi movie is OK too . . .
