Surprise from Trojan...
« on: April 24, 2008, 02:27:36 PM »
Hi,

Came home from being out for an hour or two to find a note from UPS having tried to deliver something from Trojan.  I haven't ordered anything from them and I don't think they even sell product in the UK, but I did fill in a survey of theirs last December online as I recall.

So, what's the betting that Trojan has sent:

 1) A crate of spanking-new deep-cycle 12V batteries for my pleasure.

 2) A crate of alcohol or other consumables for my pleasure.

 3) A crate of marketing bumf for my non-pleasure.

 4) A 'Does It Blend' mixture of the above for my disposal.

 5) None of the above.

 6) It's a bulk delivery from a different Trojan, eg http://www.trojancondom.co.uk/

B^>

Wow, when I first read this I though you were serious about the free batteries... then I continued reading. How disappointed I was. Made me laugh though :-)

I checked on-line and the package weight is given as 1lb, so your option is looking likely.  Bv<

If it's condoms you don't get to see anything.  This is a family forum.  Well, kinda. B^>

Redelivery should be at about 14:30 BST tomorrow!

Perhaps its a beta sample of their prototype 225 Ah "Fusion Master 3000" batteries that only weigh 1 LB each. You know, for your evaluation.

Regardless of the type of "Trojan" it is, it will probably use an advanced polymer encasement to prevent electrolyte leakage.

Surely a 1 pound box couldn't hold a sufficient amount of latex....

When I saw the title, I thought it would be kind of funny.  At 1 lb, the battery item isn't looking very likely.  Maybe its a tee-shirt for filling out the survey.  Rich
