Just so Dan & Admin know i was on a MAC before , am using  XP now with IE 6.0.2900 sp2 .It is garbage free because i just reformatted the HD and reloaded XP onto it.

And no joy replying to posts in comment.

The MAC worked fine , and had no problems , Cant do it with XP though.

Willi,

I have had better posting luck with firefox than IE.

Have had firefox loaded for a while but didn't use it because it didn't transfer my favorites list. Now I use it full time because of the upgrade.

Works OK with Firefox 3.5 on SuSE Linux, for plugins I have Sun Java-1.6 and Adblock. I'm connected with Time-Warner cable and an linux-iptables firewall.

Just tried with XP pro and IE7 and nothing happens, the 'post' button doesn't do anything.

What i've found doing my diary post no matter what I try I cant get pictures to be included in my posts. Last nights update did have the box at the bottom for 'your images' and it didnt matter how often I clicked it there wasnt anything included in the post. TomW has come to rescue twice now and thanks mate it is appreciated.

One other pet peeve when doing a thread or post if you click on your photo uploads fair enough it takes you to the upload page then bang you've lost the thread you were typing.

try right click "open link in new tab" or "open link in new window" Bryan. personally i like opening in a tab to a window but that is personal preference.

Just cleared out histories, cookies and all that "stuff" ie7 and Opera on XP pro, still wasn't able the post, both just sat there like a bump on a log.

FireFox 3.5 on XP pro works...so far.

Seems to be something in the re-fresh

AND FYI Firefox 3.5 seems to have built in spell-checking here.

This seems to have turned into the info thread, so,  have tried Vista, XP, and Ubuntu,  with Firefox, all work well in the off-peak hours.  All hang up at around 9:30 AM my time.  Usually exit/back in cures it.

IE on both Windows does it sometimes, any time of the day.

At 2 in the morning, everything seems to work.

It seems to be better now that the Who's on line feature left.

I don't seem to be having near the troubles that some are having, so this might mean absolutely nothing.

This is a test, only a test of fieldlines posting...

computer 1 (main) Neither IE or Opera works on XP pro sp3

No posting since sometime after 21oct09.

Today tested additional computers.

computer 2 opera no posting XP stripped sp3

computer 3 Neither IE or Opera works, this is testing first time install of firefox, will see if it works.

VERY FRUSTRATING.

Scott.
