The little mill that I have been fly for a while now finely came apart.
It was the second wind mill I made.
Old Blue the first one was to heavy to fly up high at the time.
The little mill was using AirMater fan blades.
To me they were the best I have tested.
They were 15 inches from center. 30 inch dia. One of the blades broke
when it fell and hit the rocks at the bottom of the pole.
At times I seen good amps / watts out of the 38 volt Amteck motor.
Most of the time less that 2 amps but have seen the little motor max out
with very high wind. I found melted spots in the core while getting it up.
It was # 12 gage around 75 feet of run. Needed bigger wire for sure.
I have learned enough to make me some wooden blades. May try that next.
