Searching for manual created heat.....
« on: April 12, 2008, 06:12:03 PM »
Can anyone recommend a method of creating heat from some type of manual effort?

What comes to mind initially for me is rubbing two items together and generating some radiating frictional heat.

It seems like there should be an efficient way of generating heat from some type of physical effort.

I'm looking for something like the bike power generators except that it would just convert directly to heat.

Sorry, but this is either stupid, a troll or just making up questions. Whichever it is its off topic.

Rub your hands together - classic example of friction heating.

Apply brakes on pedal bike for friction heating.
