oil hot air furnace exhaust smell

I have an old furnace that apparently has a cracked inner chamber and for the past 2 months every time it kicks in all i smell is exhaust. its getting worse. what can i do? i've called 2 heating places and they said the furnace needs to be replaced.

Get a carbon monoxide detector and place it in your house if the alarm goes off....replace your

furnace....better yet...just replace the furnace

with a newer more efficient furnace you'll be

saving money in the long run and maybe a couple

lives while you're at it.
