waste oil heaters
« on: January 10, 2008, 08:40:10 PM »
Does anyone have first or second-hand experience with waste oil heaters? Any advice on which companies to avoid, or which to buy from?  We are a small auto repair shop.  Thank you.

put one in and you will never look back I don't know what to recomend I run a very old lainair 250 it takes some cleaning and tlc but a lot less work than a woodstove

we heat a 80x60 shop in central mn with roughly 1000 galons a year maybe a little more

Check out all that HillTopGrange has to say, he's has the know how and uses it.

Here is a post where I asked him a similar question.

I would read all of his posts and diaries.

Good luck and take care!

I have what I think is a good design waste oil heater that has been heating my 1200 sq ft shop for nearly 5 years now.  I have done a writeup on it and have some poop posted here on it in my diarys.  If you want to BUILD one rather than purchase one already built, let me know and I will be glad to share what I have with you.  Contact me at "rjd at robotmaker dot biz"
