This Banki turbine has been obtained from a galvanized tube of 2 " 5,02cm and two steel discs of the diameter of 15,5 cm.

Here under there are the calculations for the dimensioning of the turbine:  H = fallen height = 50 ' = 15 m ;

L*D1 = Width blade * Diameter Disc = (210 * Capacity water/H 1/2) = 210,6 * 0,33 cfs * 7 ' = 9,93 ";

Hi Steo,

  Please resize your pictures.  I have satellite broadband, and I had to wait for the pictures to load.  Folks using dial-up will be waiting all day for the pics to appear.

  It looks like your project is coming along nicely, but I did notice a minor mistake.

Your turbine has 20 vanes.  The number of vanes should be a prime number for best and quietest operation.  Please keep a close watch for stress cracks.

Other than that, it's looking good.
