are you looking to buy one or DIY?

DIY would be to use an hvac fan unit -there is a page somehwere around here with one thrown across a creek to charge batteries. I don't have the link.

Why don't you furnish the data for the site, like head, water volume etc.

still not enough data.

What is the volume of water or the water source can supply all the necessary liters/second to obtain maximum power with the 8 inch pipe ?.

I to am thinking of building something like the blade situation in a powerpal or the

naide system use a blade that alot like a round pice of metal cut into a pie shape,

then twist the ends. The blades on a power pal pipe a 20-30 degree angle.

they also use a .. shoot .. that spins the water around like tornado before goining

past the blades. most of those use 2-10 head.

I wonder how much difference this makes in effecnancy?

I thought of the heat pump fan also. my down draft pipe could be 12".

I thought of a low head banki, but they spin only 200 rpm , where even the low head power pal has no gearing somit must spin rather fast (no gearing propblems as in the banki).

Does any one have Good photos of the powerpal or naide?

My creek goes thru huge level changes and a banki would have to float where a down draft tube would be fine.
