Some LED panel arrays for work space lighting, comparable to that of a surgical suite can run a few thousand dollars. But consider the 50,000 hour life expectancy too- than it is not so bad. These are a simple screw it down plug it in and go.
Otherwise, there are arrays of various configurations available from sources like www.digikey.com Philips has their offerings, but careful shopping and you can find cheaper comparable product. Lite On, Lamina, and a few others have similar product lines and the pricing is close. But the technology is out there now.
Much of what you will find on Ebay of the LED lighting technology is old and is not representative of where the technology truly is capable today.
