I am a total newbie in dear need of help and this is the first site I have come to that is willing to offer it.
I want to create a motorized skateboard. I am aware there are already motorized skateboards out there, but those cost $300. They also have unnecessary controls.
I want to create a simple skateboard, using a motor that accelerates at a constant speed. I have been unable to find a motor that is small enough to fit under the skateboard and support 130 pounds (me). I have no clue where to start and if this is the write forum.
If you have any suggestions or even a store to by a motor that would serve this purpose please feel free and speak up.
