I'm tring to find a steam engine.
I also talked with Bob who builds steam engines out of old six cyl.engines. He and his steam association build these engines to race them. Bob told me to call Judy who is in charge of the store room for there association records. Bob said that he can drive for 8 hours at 50 mph with a close loop 400 lb per hr boiler, that is only a 4 gallon looped system. By any chance has anyone here done a conversion using a 6 cyl. gas engine?
Lots of steam forums out there. Just not topical enough for anything but a Diary.
