What's the best way to gear up? Do I want to?
Can gear reducers be used to run backwards to increase RPMs? Depends?
Anyone know of a way I could automatically cut in a 2nd motor instead of using a dump load? Or even a gear reducer?I'm working on this, too,I think it woud be better than wasting the extra energy of my windy location.
Why don't those old water pump windmill blades work for this? Or would they?
Anyone know of any clever ways to get forklift batteries?
I have a couple plans for blades, but do you know any good places to buy them?Best style/blade count, ect.?
In the end, what design can be built to put out the most power,Piggot's,Poorman's (using motors),or other?
What's your personal Dream Machine? What would you build in optimal conditions? What parts would you use?(within reason)
Thanks,HK
